DIR EN GREY has announced that they will be releasing a new single titled “Rinkaku“! They have also announced that they will be holding a live concert on December 25th at Tokyo International Forum.

The other day, a mysterious countdown appeared on DIR EN GREY’s official website, indicating that the band has great things in store for their fans. At this time, they’ve revealed their latest information along with a new artist photo.

Not much is known about the new single, but it’s scheduled for release this winter. Since this will be their first release since “DUM SPIRO SPERO“, a lot of attention has been directed at its sounds.

Meanwhile, their upcoming live has been named ‘TOUR 2012 IN SITU‘, hinting that it will be a part of a tour. Details on this concert and the single will be announced at a later date.

Furthermore, DIR EN GREY will be distributing a 24-hour program called ‘DIR EN GREY CHANNEL 24HOURS‘ via Nico Nico Namahousou on August 11th from 10:00 pm JST. The program will feature live footage and video clips as well as footage from their regular show, ‘DIR EN GREY×Boo CHANNEL‘.

Only in June the vocalist of the girl-metal-band Aldious, Rami, had decided to leave the band due to her worsening health condition. This was certainly a huge shock for all fans, as Aldious had gained popularity in nearly no time with their unique style and sounds.

However, it has been announced just recently that there will be a new vocalist standing on stage with Aldious from now on! Her name is Re:NO and the other members stated that, since the first time they had listened to Re:NO’s singing, they really wanted her to become part of the band for the simple reason that she would be able to sing Aldious’ songs just the way they should be sung.

“When I listened to her voice for the very first time, it echoed in my heart and I thought ‘I want her to sing the songs of Aldious’ and ‘I want to work with her on Aldious from now on’ from the bottom of my heart”, states Yoshi.

Of course all fans will still be missing Rami in this band, but obviously the girls are eager to go even further and therefore the fans really should give Re:NO a chance to grow with Aldious.

Stay tuned and check out Aldious official homepage for further comments of the members! http://aldious.jp/news/2012/08/aldious_4

Just a few hours ago an important announcement was released regarding DOG in the PWO.

On the evening of Friday, July 27th, while the vehicle the members were riding in was stopped at a traffic light in the metropolitan area, they were involved in a rear-end collision when a truck struck them from behind. All of the members are safe, but as they are experiencing conditions such as Traumatic Cervical Syndrome*, they are currently visiting the hospital and resting. Presently, we plan to carry out the releases and lives as scheduled, but hereafter in considering that new problems or worsening conditions may surface, there is the possibility that the scheduled items may be postponed or that the band will suspend activities. Please understand that we will plan activities in accordance with doctors’ diagnoses and advice in order to aim for speedy recovery time. We are terribly sorry for the worry and trouble caused to fans and staff, but we’d like to ask for your understanding.
