LUNA SEA, Versailles, UNDIVIDE, Igaguri Chiba, exist†trace, musicJAPANplus GIG vol.4

Legendary rock band LUNA SEA will hold special performances at Osaka-jo Hall and Nippon Budokan in December and January.

The band’s official website has been counting down to an announcement and revealed that LUNA SEA will return to these two venues after twelve years. Their last performance at Nippon Budokan was back in May 2000 as part of their tour PREMIRE OF LUNACY 2000. They last played at Osaka-jo Hall in August of the same year for their LUNA SEA CONCERT TOUR 2000 BRAND NEW CHAOS.

For the concert LIVE 2012-2013 The End of the Dream, LUNA SEA will perform at Osaka-jo Hall on December 23rd. This will be followed by 6 DAYS @NIPPON BUDOKAN, which will consist of six concerts at the legendary venue, to take place in January 2013. The performances will be in two parts, spread over two weekends. The first part will take place from Friday 11th-Sunday 13th, while the second part will take place the following weekend, from Friday 18th-Sunday 20th. Ticket sales will begin on September 1st.

To commemorate their fifth anniversary, visual kei band Versailles will release a new single titled ROSE on July 4th.

The single consists of four tracks, which are the new songs ROSE and Ayakashi -ayakashi-, plus the previously released Love will be born again (Japanese Version) and THE RED CARPET DAY.

The single will be released in a regular CD-only edition, plus a CD+DVD edition titled ROSE -5th Anniversary Box-. The DVD contains footage from the World Tour 2012 -Holy Grail- Grand Final ~Chateau de Versailles~ held on February 12th, as well as footage of the band’s history.

News about this has been floating around for awhile, but now it’s official! Leda (ex-Deluhi) has started up his own solo project band called UNDIVIDE. There aren’t much details released yet, but UNDIVIDE will release a single on August 8th and on September 5th, they will release their very first album!

Once again, the details aren’t released yet, but there will also be a tour in fall 2012 in Osaka, Tokyo and Nagoya.

It seems like Deluhi members are appearing on the music scene again! How many of you are happy to see Leda again? What do you think of this project?

On May 26th, Igaguri Chiba, front-man of Sendai Kamotsu had been participating with a performance at Fanimecon in California and on June 13th, he will be releasing his first and long anticipated solo album!

After his first overseas performance Chiba had also been on the same stage as Golden Bomber at TOKYO DOME CITY HALL on June 3rd as an opening act. The performance had also been aired live world-wide via YouTube.

Chiba’s first album will be titled “Chiba no Ana vol.1″ and at the most recent event, more details on the contents had been revealed. After the release he will be doing a great number of events at different Visual-kei specialized shops in Tokyo, Oomiya and of course Sendai. All events will be different and fans will have the chance to be patted on the head or take pictures with Chiba, while they will also have the chance to slap Chiba’s bottom perhaps.

It’s been announced that female visual key band exist†trace has released their latest album “VIRGIN” worldwide via iTunes. The album will be available in America and over 30 countries, including Spain, France, Poland, Germany, Italy, United Kingdom, Belgium, Greece, Lithuania, Mexico, and Australia.

“VIRGIN” is exist†trace’s first major-label full-length album, released May 23 from Tokuma Japan Communications. The disc contains new songs and favorites from their previous EP releases “TRUE“, including “I feel you“, which was selected as the main theme for Nadeshiko Japan’s 2012 guidebook DVD.

exist†trace recently completed their first live-house tour of America in March, 2012, with stops in Boston, New York, Philadelphia, and Pittsburgh, where they played for over 1000 fans at the Japanese anime and culture event Tekkoshocon 2012.
